2. Place: Yeouido Park Grass Square (68, Yeouigongwon-ro, Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul)
3. Size: 12 spots (around 60㎡/spot)
4. Theme: Gardens for You, Me and Us
※ Reference Theme ( You + Me + Us + Garden)
- The words “you,” “me” and “us” are derived from the old name of ‘Yeouido’ where the event will be held, which is ‘Neoseom’ and ‘Naeuiseom,’ reflecting the situations of the time and connoting convergence ⇒ “Gardens for You, Me and Us”
- Theme connected to Seoul’s brand ‘I・SEOUL・U’
- Seoul where you and I are connected in life (garden).
- There is Seoul (garden) between one person and another. ‘Gardens for You, Me and Us’ is the theme that represents the 2017 Seoul Garden Show, and we look forward to various ideas to know, promote and relate to Seoul.
5. Qualifications
- All experts in the related fields of landscape, horticulture, gardening, architecture and industrial design can participate, who can also perform the following roles.
- Those who can actually create a real garden according to the winning design
- Those who can maintain and manage the garden during the exhibition
- Those who can attend the briefing and awards ceremony during the exhibition
- You can only submit by yourself or inpairs, and one of you must be selected asare presentative for registration. There presentative has the rights to submit and receive documents related to the contest, and acquire or give up the rights.
- You can also collaborate with a company, but the representative must be an individual.
6. Support
- Foundation of the site (soil, grading) and installation of garden signs
- Garden establishment cost of 15 million KRW (tax included) / garden
※ The amount includes all costs required for construction such as material costs (excluding design costs) - Foreigners living overseas must collaborate with a garden building company in Korea to build the garden, and the costs will be directly paid by the host to the constructing company.
※ A Korean company can be recommended upon request - Foreigners living overseas that are selected for the 2ndscreening(maximum2perteam) will be provided with actual expense of around-tripairfare(coach) to create the garden and attend the ceremony
