서울정원박람회는 서울특별시가 주최하여 2015년부터 5년간 개최된 가든 쇼입니다.
최신 정원 디자인 트렌드를 엿볼 수 있는 전시 정원, 다양한 정원용품과 정원 식물 소재를 소개하는 정원산업전, 다양한 문화 공연이 펼쳐지는 페스티벌과 콘퍼런스, 가드닝 프로그램 등 매년 평균 80여 만 명의 관람객이 방문하고 있습니다.
올해는 도시재생형 정원박람회로 서울시만의 차별화된 정원박람회 브랜드를 세계로 확산시키고자 ‘서울국제정원박람회’를 2020년 10월 8일부터 18일 까지 11일간 서울역 도시재생지역(중림, 만리동) 일대에서 개최됩니다.
국내를 넘어 해외 방문객까지 폭넓게 유치하기 위해 국내·외 유명 작가나 단체를 초청해 정원을 만들고 국제 공모전을 통해 작가 정원을 조성하는 등 국제적이면서 정원으로 도시를 재생시키는 박람회를 추진하려 합니다.
Seoul Garden Show is a garden show hosted by the Seoul Metropolitan Government and held for ve years from 2015. On average, 800,000 visitors visit the garden show every year, including an exhibition garden that oers a glimpse of the latest garden design trends, a garden industry exhibition that showcase various garden supplies and garden plant materials. There are also a Garden Conference to introduce garden information and new technologies.
This year, the Seoul International Garden Show 2020 (SIGS 2020) will be held for 11 days from October 8 to 18, 2020 to spread Seoul's unique garden exhibition brand to the world.
To attract a wide range of visitors from home and abroad, ‘SIGS 2020’ is planning to promote various international gardening experience programs that invite famous domestic and foreign horticulturists who will be selected through international competitions.
