“소나무가 많은 언덕” 이라는 뜻에서 유래된 송파구는 과거 한성백제 시대의 도읍지였고 고려와 조선시대를 거쳐 현재까지 한강변 교통의 중심지 역할을 하고 있습니다.

오늘날 송파구는 석촌호수, 롯데타워, 더 스피어 등 다양한 볼거리를 자랑하며, 66만 인구가 거주하는 살기 좋은 터전으로 발전했습니다.

이 정원은 우리가 살아가는 터전을 아름답게 표현한 것이며, 벽돌기단은 한성백제의 역사를, 다양한 식물들은 송파구민들의 개성과 조화를 상징합니다.

Songpa-gu, which means "a hill with many pine trees," was a capital city during the Hanseong Baekje period in the past

and has long served as a transportation hub along the Hangang River from the Goryeo and Joseon dynasties to the present.

Today, Songpa-gu boasts various attractions such as Seokchon Lake, Lotte Tower, and The Sphere, and has developed into a good site of living where 660,000 people live.

This garden beautifully reflects the site where we live, and the brick foundation symbolizes the history of Hanseong Baekje, and the various plants symbolize the individuality and harmony of Songpa-gu residents.
